Massachusetts Avenue was photographed at a train stop in a Bostonian neighborhood that isn’t known for being safe or beautiful in a conventional way. It’s rough, tense, and unsettling, and exactly that contrast is what drew me in. I combined different vintage pieces with more recent ones, letting time layers collide. The mix of black and pink reflects this tension: darkness and vulnerability, danger and softness existing side by side. This post isn’t about romanticizing the place, but about capturing the uneasy beauty that can appear where you least expect it.
My look: Reversible hot pink fake fur vest, wool hat in black and pink with ties, and long sleeve logo shirt, (all from Coco Neige 2023/24 collection) and shearling bag (from F/W 2014 supermarket collection), all by CHANEL, checked mini skirt (S/S 1998) by D&G, and platform fake fur boots by Prada Sport.

Normcore… perfect boring, special normal – whatever you want to name it, there’s no getting away from fashion’s fascination with the mundane lately. Trend leader CHANEL kicked off the style last winter with its supermarket inspired collection and created the perfect pedestrian look –throw on leggings, trainers and a big easy coat. It’s all in the luxe twist. Minimal effort required.

The last days here in Los Angeles have been magic like always. There is something about this city that makes me feel like I have arrived, that makes me want to embrace the world. I am leaving today but will be back in 10 days… here you see me outside of the Smashbox Studios in Culver City where Davis Factor himself photographed me yesterday. This was the outfit I wore to the launch event of The No Animal Brand at Jelmoli in Zurich. Shearling has been a huge trend this F/W 2014 season and Prada’s colorful designs are the best way to sport the fuzzy style. Oversized and extremely comfortable, Mrs Prada delivered sheepskin jackets in psychedelic seventies colours, that brighten up every grey winter day.
