Tuesday, I flew to one of my favourite cities in the world: London. I was invited by Marionnaud to attend the Rodial Beautiful Awards. Here you see me on the arrival day. I stayed at the lovely St. Martins Lane hotel, where the event took place in the evening. Before going on a little shopping spree, I enjoyed a yummy lunch at the Asia de Cuba restaurant.
My look: Military coat by Miu Miu, shirt and knit waistcoat by Gucci, double-layered mesh skirt
by Theyskens’ Theory, glass crystal eagle necklace by Lanvin, boots by Balmain and leather tote
by Saint Laurent.
I know that you have seen me lately many times with this shopper by Saint Laurent. It is truly my favourite bag at the moment, especially when I am travelling. It is easy to carry and suits all sorts of styles. Stay tuned for the upcoming post of the event, I love my job!

I love coming back from my travels to some nice surprises. This week, two arrivals have truly made me very happy.

When Prada unveiled its gourmand caramel scent named CANDY in 2011, I have become immediately a huge fan. Therefore I was over the moon about the house’s newest flanker version that has arrived on my doorstep this week: PRADA CANDY L’EAU. Like the original, the new version is also signed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. Seductive and playful in one, the new fragrance is modified with notes of citruses and flowers.

ORIENTAL VANILLA
Top notes: Italian citruses
Middle notes: Sweet pea
Base notes: Benzoin, white musk and caramel (The Prada Candy trilogy).

Prada Candy L’Eau EdT CHF 74.00 (30ml) – CHF 99.00 (50ml) – CHF 127.00 (80ml)
Available in Switzerland Mid April 2013.

White pumps are so hot! And the amazing Janis leather pumps
by Saint Laurent will be among my summer favorites.

On my last day in Los Angeles, I had a little time to walk down Rodeo Drive and to meet with my Beverly Hills girlfriends at the Beverly Wilshire for a drink before heading to the airport.

Bonnie Star (to the left) is a famous American jewelry designer, who made the wonderful cuff that I am wearing on the photo, modeled after nineteenth-century French lace.
(For a previous post on Bonnie, please click here).
Claudia Deutsch (to the right) is the owner of the Artspace Warehouse gallery in Los Angeles that offers high quality original artworks from established and emerging international artists at affordable prices for every budget. She brought this new concept also to Zurich, check out the Kunstwarenhaus.

My look: Striped glossed rayure-effect blazer and
flat tote bag, both by Saint Laurent, classic white tee
by Burberry London, stretch leggings
by Stouls, long tank top
by Rick Owens, skull silk scarf
by Alexander McQueen, boots by Balmain, gold lace cuff by Bonnie Star and 4810 hoop earrings in pink gold with diamonds by Montblanc.

Black pumps will always be a classic, but this summer, it is all about white pumps. Incorporate this shoe trend into your own style by combining it with your favourite new season looks. Better be fast to snag a pair, they sell out fast!
Here are four of the bestsellers:
1 Abel leather pumps
by Jimmy Choo
2 Patent leather pumps
by Balmain
3 Paris leather pumps
by Saint Laurent
4 Janis leather pumps

Time flies during Paris Fashion Week. There is so much going on. Besides from all those runway shows, you have many invites to cocktail receptions, special presentations and store openings. You go to “re-sees”, which means, visiting the showroom to explore the new collection from up close. I have so much too show you, but find barely time to work.
Here is the look that I wore yesterday to the Valentino F/W 2013 show which was one of my favorites, absolutely beautiful.
Double breasted jacket,
dress with leather and lace appliqué, suede ankle boots, and tote bag, all by Saint Laurent,
leather mini shoulder bag by Valentino and Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie.

Last night, I went to the Zurich opera ball (remember last year?) and only slept two hours. Sorry that I didn’t take some pictures of my outfit, I needed a photo-free evening. But I actually wore the same dress as for La Soirée Monegasque. When I got home pretty late, I still had to pack for Paris Fashion Week. Here you see me at the airport this morning.
My look: Leather biker jacket
by Saint Laurent, embellished cotton-jersey sweatshirt
by Matthew Williamson, Boyfriend cropped distressed jeans
by Current/Elliott, Pashli two-tone mini shark embossed leather satchel
by 3.1 Phillip Lim, flat tote bag by Saint Laurent, lace-up oxfords
by Miu Miu (Available in many different colours. I bought mine in Zurich.) and Spectra trolley by Victorinox.
Very tired but all excited for some new adventures! Bonjour Paris!
Now, off to the Akris F/W 2013 show…

This was my outfit that I wore to the Pre-Oscar Charity Brunch hosted by Montblanc and UNICEF to celebrate the launch of their new ‘Signature For Good 2013‘ initiative with special guest Hilary Swank at Hotel Bel-Air Saturday morning.
Of course, the sun was shining in Los Angeles but temperatures were quite chilly so that I was very thankful to have brought something warm.

My look: Pale pink mink fur coat with flower intarsia, black satin bag with floral embellishments, both by Prada,
dress with leather and lace appliqué, bow-embellished patent-leather pumps, both by Saint Laurent, 4810 hoop earrings in pink gold with diamonds, Princess Grace de Monaco limited edition (8 pieces) watch, both by Montblanc.

Yesterday, I arrived in Los Angeles in the late afternoon and went straight to my hotel, the Beverly Wilshire, one of the filming locations for the 1990 movie “Pretty Woman”. There, I attended a cocktail reception at the Montblanc Arts & Artisanery Lounge located at the fabulous Royal Suite, followed by a dinner at one of my favourite restaurants, Osteria Mozza.
My look: Black crystal embellished wool dress by Emilio Pucci
and patent pumps with bows
by Saint Laurent.
The decoration couldn’t have been more perfect for an Oscar experience…
The last photo of this post was taken this morning when I woke up after two hours of sleep. Gorgeous sunshine in the city of angels. I just love L.A.!
