Work it with the colorful prints by Peter Pilotto! Here you see me wearing them in a casual way when I was in Zermatt last month. The London-based label has attracted a huge audience who adores their kaleidoscopic graphic designs in no time. To see how the same prints can be worn in a chic way, click here please.
My look: Geometric print cotton sweatshirt, matching down vest and printed modal and cashmere blend scarf, all by Peter Pilotto, Monogramme embellished shopper tote by Saint Laurent, The Skinny mid-rise jeans by Rag & Bone,
biker boots by Miu Miu, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Céline and baguette diamond ring by Vainard Fine Jewellery.

Last week’s outfit to have dinner with my girlfriends at Razzia restaurant in Zurich was the perfect example of how easy it is to change a look just with heels, a clutch and a great blazer. Click here for a previous post to see how the top and the jeans look different when worn together with some flats and a backpack.

Last Wednesday, Trudie Götz and her team celebrated the opening of her two new concept stores, TROIS POMMES – THE STORE, one for women on Bahnhofstrasse 18 and one for men on Bahnhofstrasse 12 in Zurich. The new three-story shop for ladies is filled with everything a fashionista’s heart desires, the must-have pieces from well-known designers such as Givenchy, Saint Laurent and Peter Pilotto among others. For this special occasion, jewelry designer Harumi Klossowska and cashmere guru Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman had flown in to get to know their Zurich customers. Great concept, amazing interior, two thumbs up!

Some of you who are subscribed to my newsletter might have wondered why you are not receiving any. I have some severe issues with the mailing system and during the next days Sandra’s Closet might be offline from time to time. When you think “festival fashion,” Coachella, which starts today, is pretty much the gold standard. With the stylish crowd gathered in one dusty desert destination, decked out in their boho best, it’s a feast for the eyes. With the emergence of ’70s styles on the S/S 2015 runways, adapting to the boho vibe seems to be an easy task. Take, for example, fringe. From fringe hemlines to cropped tops, gorgeous flats and even bags, the look is everywhere you turn at a music festival. Here is some style inspiration.
Get the look: Fringed leather biker jacket
by Balmain, cropped cutout stretch-knit top by Jonathan Simkhai, cut-off denim shorts
and Monogramme fringed suede shoulder bag, both by Saint Laurent, Virginie rabbit-felt fedora
by Maison Michel, gold-plated chain bib necklace
by Ben Amun, aviator-style gold-tone mirrored sunglasses
and leopard-print calf hair point-toe flats
, both by Victoria Beckham.
A hat looks always stylish or opt for a flower crown. Colour some cute daisies under your eyes for the ultimate hippie feeling or stitch some floral lace around one hemline of your denim shorts. Wether you are in Palm Springs or not, this style looks great everywhere.

, embellished velvet vest, Anita fringed suede shoulder bag, fringed studded suede ankle boots, woven lurex tassel necklace
, Patti beaded suede necklace and infinity belt, all by Saint Laurent. Cocktail ring by Roberto Cavalli.

As part of the 10th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF), Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen invited me for the opening of the “Timeless Portofino” exhibition.
CEO Georges Kern was joined by Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett and renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh to present the amazing result of a photo shoot which involved a host of stars, such as Emily Blunt, Zhou Xun, Ewan McGregor, Christoph Waltz among others and was organized by IWC especially for the launch of its new Portofino Midsize collection. Before the exhibition set off around the world, IWC celebrated the world premiere with around 250 guests and invited them to a glamorous gala dinner (see yesterday’s post here). Enjoy my outfit post and the photos that I took from above upon the arrival of the famous guests as I was already inside the exhibition.
My look: Embroidered wrap-over mini-dress by Balmain, metallic and matte-leather pumps
and Sac De Jour Nano leather shoulder bag
