After my summer holidays in Ibiza, I came back completely chilled and relaxed. But as usual you have to run some errands due to an empty fridge. Here you see me at Sihlcity in Zurich. Comfortable, with the ease of a never-ending beach time, this jumpsuit is not only perfect for vacations in hot climates, but also for a stroll through the city.

Last night, a true football thriller took place in Brazil. I watched the game at a friend’s house and couldn’t be more proud of the outcome. A beautifully taken extra-time goal by Mario Götze helped my home country win the 2014 World Cup final 1-0 against Argentina at the Maracanã. With the win, Germany became the first European side to win the World Cup in the Americas and pulled even with Italy for the second-most titles all-time, one behind Brazil’s record five. The team had not lifted the trophy since 1990, when West Germany defeated Argentina in the final.
I flew in from Berlin yesterday afternoon where I got myself the perfect outfit. Check out Wear Your Flag, a fun website with all sorts of items to show your national pride!

My look: Strapless dress by Wear Your Flag, jeggings by Donna Karan, jelewed nappa leather box bag
by Saint Laurent and biker boots by Chanel.

On my nails: I created the flag design with “Need Sunglasses” by OPI, “Valentine Red” and “Tuxedo Black“, both by Bobbi Brown. Start with a layer of yellow and then work your way up with red and black as the last step.

Personally speaking, I am crazy for Hedi Slimane‘s designs for Saint Laurent. His cult rock-chic aesthetic creates strong silhouettes that are sexy and cool in one, perfect for a night out in Marrakesh. During my recent 40hours in the Moroccan city, I partied at Palais Jad Mahal, a place I can highly recommend. This colorful location combines a restaurant, a bar and a night club with great live music.
My look: Asymmetric sequined crepe mini dress, Janis leather platform pumps with chains and Betty chain red leather shoulder bag, all by Saint Laurent, earrings by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring, both by Piaget.

One week ago in Marrakesh, my friend Mel’s big birthday celebration took place on Saturday evening accompanied by the renewal of her wedding vows with her husband Dan. It was a very romantic evening and she look stunning in her Zuhair Murad dress. It truly felt like One Thousand and One Nights and I am so grateful for all these different highlights that we experienced, among them a live performance by Paul Potts, the British tenor, who had won the first series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2007. With all my heart, thank you, Mel and Dan, for your friendship and this magical trip!
My look: Leather-trimmed jersey gown with cutouts
by Givenchy, set of 5 gold-tone cuffs
by Alexander McQueen, earrings by Chanel, ring by Etro, animal print clutch, tribal sandals and necklace, both by Louis Vuitton, small Amulette necklace by Cartier.
LoL, Sandra

Last weekend, I was invited to a very special birthday celebration, a trip and memories that I will treasure forever. My readers who have followed me since the beginning, might remember the amazing 40 hours in Venice for my friend Dan’s 40th birthday in 2011. Now it was time to get together for his wife Mel’s big day.
When I arrived at the airport, none of the guests had any idea where we would fly to. The boarding pass said to Dummy City and when we entered the amazing private jet, everyone was speculating where it would take us. After a fun 3.5 hours flight, we landed in a fairy tale of one and one thousands nights in Marrakesh. The magic red city, where the legends of the Orient still feel alive. And my outfit couldn’t have been a better match…
My look: Dotted silk cardigan and matching top, both by Dolce & Gabbana, transparent black plissée harem pants
by Gucci, Boy bag with chains and metallic patent phone holder, both by Chanel,
Alice leather sandals with pearls by Saint Laurent, Limelight Gala watch and rose diamond ring by Piaget, Hapi leather bracelet by Hermès.
Stay tuned for more from this weekend coming up soon…
LoL, Sandra

This week, Aspen in Colorado, one of the world’s most famous mountain resorts, plays host to the first ever CHANEL pop-up store in the USA. The ephemeral boutique, which is located at the Casa Tua, the classic mountainside restaurant and private club, presents the Métiers d’Arts Paris-Dallas collection, which Karl Lagerfeld showed in Texas last December.

Celebrating the virtuosity of the House’s ateliers and their specialized know-how, the pop-up store showcases the Wild West-inspired collection in a modern yet rustic environment that is a nod to Aspen. On the terrace, guests can take in the stunning, panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains and immerse oneself in the rugged luxury of the stunning surroundings.
The CHANEL at Casa Tua Ephemeral Boutique will be open until July 6, 2014.

I love to make my flights as comfortable as possible and as I am frequently traveling around the world, I have some favorites to wear. This season it is definitely my Chanel backpack that even holds my laptop and the phone holder. They are stylish yet very practical and give you the opportunity to have your hands free.
My Look: Printed T-shirt by Ralph Lauren Black Label, mid-rise skinny jeans
by Dolce & Gabbana, graffiti backpack, metallic patent phone holder and matching booties, all by Chanel, Limelight Gala watch, diamond rose ring and necklace, all by Piaget and Hapi leather bracelet by Hermès.

After an amazing day on the boat, experiencing the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2014 first-hand (pics coming up soon), I enjoyed an amazing night at Phi Beach, an open air club with enchanting rock formations shaped by the sea. The light here at the Costa Smeralda is breathtaking and it was just beautiful watching the sunset. Sun, sea, fun and exciting music, the Italians know how to party!
My look: Cashmere and silk-blend cardigan by Miu Miu, linen shift dress and rainbow colored bag, both by Chanel, turquoise suede sandals by Prada, Amulette necklace by Cartier, diamond rose ring, necklace and Limelight Gala watch, all by Piaget.

This Chanel bag has been one of my best buys this season as its rainbow palette of colors makes it the perfect accessory for many outfits. It is made of fabric which allows it to be stuffed easily into a suitcase.
LoL, Sandra
