My Look: Paris Fashion Week Love

With a history rooted in haute couture and a reputation for hosting some of the world’s famous fashion houses, experts and guests might explain why Paris is my favourite fashion week city. The final leg of the big four (New York, London, Milan, Paris), Paris Fashion Week (PFW) traditionally provides the most drama with designers creating the most spectacular runway shows. Stay tuned for some of my adventures!

My Look: All Good Baby

Welcome to EL&N London’s most Instagrammable hot spot. Everything here is irresistibly chic, pink perfection with flower walls, pink interiors and alternative lattes taking social media by storm.

EL&N stands for Eat, Live and Nourish. I came across this place by coincidence when I was looking for a location to shoot. I couldn’t have worn a better outfit fitting the interior, don’t you think?
I went for a Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate, a rose flavored white hot chocolate covered with whipped cream, served with two Turkish delights, that was very yummy.

My look: Concert checked recycled woven blazericon, matching Concert cropped checked recycled woven flared pantsicon, Concert jacquard-knit merino wool, cotton and cashmere-blend tankicon, Concert striped silk-twill shirt, allicon by Zimmermann, Hippipump crystal appliqué suede ballet flats by Christian Louboutinicon, My LV chain pilot sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, and flap bag with top handle in iridescent grained calfskin and gradient lacquered metal, all by CHANEL.

My Look: The Newbury Boston

The Newbury Boston is one of my favorite hotels worldwide, a historic landmark in Boston, Massachusetts, originally opened in 1927 as The Ritz-Carlton Hotel at that time. The property anchors fashionable Newbury Street and the picturesque Boston Public Garden, located in the heart of the Back Bay. It is also home to Contessa, Boston’s most sought after dining experience and definitely the most trending hot spot. After a complete refurbishment under the creative vision of renowned designers Ken Fulk, Jeffrey Beers, and Alexandra Champalimaud and being renamed The Newbury Boston, it opened its doors again in May 2021.

Its slogan «a well-crafted life» fits its service and the beautifully decorated rooms perfectly. Here you see me in my corner suite with its stunning views, reading the iconic Bostonian children’s book «Make Way for Ducklings» by Robert McCloskey.

My look: Glitter jumpsuit, pearl necklace and flap bag with top handle in iridescent grained calfskin and gradient lacquered metal, all by CHANEL, April silk-satin hair clip in pinkicon by Jennifer Behr, and Fira velvet-trimmed suede and flocked tulle pumps in black by Jimmy Choo.

My Look: Snow Leopard

At the moment, we have the most beautiful sunny weather here in Gstaad. So I sported for the first time some of my new pieces in the beige multicolor leopard Mizza motif from the DiorAlps capsule collection. The hooded down jacket is crafted in quilted technical fabric and is ideal for skiing. It has a windproof membrane, interior cuffs and numerous pockets, including one for a ski pass. I coordinated the look with the matching jumpsuit when I had lunch on the terrace of the Gstaad Palace.

My look: Hooded down jacketstretch jumpsuit, ski gloves, and book tote, all by Diorleather platform ankle bootsicon by Versace, vintage mink Monogram earmuffs in brownLV Link square sunglasses by Louis Vuitton, and pearl necklace by CHANEL.

CHANEL 22 Bag

Presented for the first time at the S/S 2022 show, the CHANEL 22 bag is the House’s latest bag imagined by Virginie Viard. Like its predecessor – the CHANEL 19 created in 2019 – its name refers to both the year of its creation and a powerful symbol in CHANEL’s numerology: in 1922, N°22 was launched, the House’s second fragrance after N°5 created in 1921.

Anchored firmly in its time, the CHANEL 22 bag combines simplicity and comfort. Functional and light, made of an extremely supple yet resistant leather, this bag comes in three sizes (small, medium and large) and as a backpack version. For summer, it is available in navy blue, purple, and two shades of pink, white and black.

Ever loyal to Gabrielle Chanel’s desire to give women freedom of movement and spirit, the CHANEL 22 bag is a genuine ally for daily life. Its interior, sophisticated and practical, closes with a magnetic button and purse-like drawstrings. It features an inside zipped pocket and a removable pouch held in place by a snap hook.

The CHANEL 22 bag adopts the codes of the House, from the quilted leather and metal chain interlaced with leather to the «CHANEL» signature composed of gold or lacquered metal letters. Finally, it comes adorned with a «CHANEL Paris» medallion with an openwork double C. Modern and refined, the result of the House’s creative energy, it is destined to become a timeless CHANEL creation.

A veritable object of desire, the CHANEL 22 bag writes a new chapter in the history of the House, combining creativity and liberty. It will be available in boutiques from March 2022.

My Look: Party

It’s weekend – time to party, I miss those carefree days when we were dancing the night away. Dancing is literally my favorite thing to so and the best way to burn of those fondue calories. Unfortunately, Gstaad Palace‘s famous GreenGo hasn’t opened its doors this season (only for me to take these photos). So I can only dream how I would dress up to be a dancing queen.

My look: Belted silk-cady wide-leg jumpsuit, and VSLING small floral-print textured-leather shoulder bagicon, both by Valentino, Angel leather platform sandals by Gucci, black bow brooch by CHANEL,  silver-tone crystal clip earringsicon by Alessandra Rich, and rose diamond ring by Piaget.

My Look: Power Your Presence

New Year’s Resolution for 2022? Make your presence count. When you confidently exude your most authentic self – powerful, life-changing things can happen. Believe in yourself and start kicking some ass. Sometimes our biggest challenge isn’t our skills or abilities, it’s learning to believe in ourselves.

Stay flexible and give it your best shot, preferably in a breathtaking, yet comfortable outfit. I literally tried to take the best shots for this post as I did all the photos by myself with the timer of my iPhone in my room at Gstaad Palace.

My look: Checked wool jumpsuiticon, and crystal-embellished checked wool cardiganicon, both by Miu Miu, leather waist belticon by Alexander McQueenembellished leather pumpsicon by Gucci, velvet pochette with colorful stones by CHANEL, and Royal Oak 37mm 18-karat frosted rose gold watch by Audemars Piguet.

Happy New Year 2022 to everyone! May all your troubles last as long as your New Year’s resolutions!

I started the New Year very well at Gstaad Palace. To have less stress that night, I took the photos of my look at the Dolder Grand in Zurich before I left for the mountains. I hope that you will like my sparkly golden outfit.

My Look: Sequined silk-blend satin cape, and matching ruched sequined tulle midi dressicon, both by Monique Lhuillier, Odette lace pumps in rosa by Jimmy Choo, gold bar clutch by CHANEL, silver-tone, crystal and faux pearl clip earrings by Alessandra Rich, and rose diamond ring by Piaget.

Fashion Wants You To Play

In times of quarantine and lockdowns, during holiday season or just for fun, board games  are always a welcome distraction of the day. If you have a fellow fashionista friend, this could be a great gift idea. Board games have been rendered in a variety of shapes and materials by several fashion houses, from luxe crystal-embellishments to sturdy wood. I have gathered some of the most beautifully designed chess sets and game boards that are sure to delight everyone from game novices to Kasparov-level players.

Give Wonder, Give CHANEL

I think all I want for Christmas is CHANEL when I saw the Maison’s latest watches & fine jewelry creations.

Actress and House ambassador Alma Jodorowsky, actor Djebril Zonga, Giedre Dukauskaite, Amar Akway, Mika Schneider and musician Sébastien Telllier wear an exceptional select of Coco Crush, Camélia, Sous le Signe du Lion, J12, Première and Boy-Friend pieces, where beige gold, yellow hold or white gold and diamonds meet.

Give wonder, give CHANEL. Gentlemen, no more excuses. The choice is yours now. You cannot go wrong, promised!
