My Look: Studio 54

Last Sunday, we celebrated a «’70s» gala at MY STYLE ROCKS. My look was an homage to one of the most iconic fashion stages of all time: Studio 54, a place that wasn’t just a nightclub, but a runway, a cultural phenomenon, and a temple of 1970s style history.

Celebrating that glamorous, decadent spirit: I went for this shimmering lamé dress and sequined blazer from Michael Kors’ F/W 2019 collection, which itself was dedicated to Studio 54, paired with a fabulous turban by Saint Laurent and the perfect accessories to finish it off.

Many didn’t realize, but this is exactly what the Seventies were about: drama, sparkle, individuality, and unapologetic glamour. Studio 54 wrote fashion history with its fearless outfits, where designers, muses, and icons all came together to create legendary moments that are still inspiring runways today.

Worn in Gala Episode 113 of MY STYLE ROCKS Season 2 with the theme «70s».

My look: Sequin tuxedo blazer with feathers, knotted stretch-lamé midi dress, Studio 54 sandals, and logo crossbody bag, all by Michael Kors Collection (F/W 2019), Aurora oversized butterfly acetate sunglassesicon by Zimmermann, Egyptian style necklace by CHANEL (Métiers d’Art Pre-fall 2019 Paris – New York collection), rings by Roberto Cavalli, and braided sequined stretch-crepe and lamé turban in black, all by Saint Laurent.

So here’s to bringing back that magic and showing that true seventies style never goes out of fashion.

My Look: Summer Vibes in July

There’s nothing quite like summer, bright colors, warm sun, and good vibes all around. Wearing a colorful outfit instantly lifts my mood and makes me feel light and carefree. July is the perfect time to slow down, soak in the season’s energy, and just enjoy the moment. And Zurich? Unexpectedly amazing in July, full of charm, color, and little surprises that make summer here feel so special.

My look: Cutout neon swimsuiticon by Dolce & Gabbana, Mare cropped printed mesh topicon, and Mare metallic crochet-knit wide-leg pantsicon, both by Missoni, braided raffia sandalsicon by Aquazzura, La Medusa beaded camera round bag icon by Versace, white floral sunglasses, logo chain belt and logo chain earrings, all by CHANEL.

A Stylish Stop at the Louis Vuitton Café

At London Heathrow’s Terminal 2, right at the heart of the terminal in front of the Louis Vuitton store, sits a striking pavilion: the Louis Vuitton Café. If you find yourself passing through, I highly recommend skipping the lounge and stopping by for a coffee instead, taking a few photos, and soaking in the atmosphere of this stylish oasis. Designed by Mark Fornes / THEVERYMANY, the futuristic, open structure draws the eye with its fluid, honeycomb-like forms and feels more like an art installation than part of an airport.

Inside, the café offers a calm, elegant space where you can pause and watch the flow of travelers. The menu, created by French chef Cyril Lignac, features delicate pastries alongside coffee. I chose a cappuccino, served with perfect foam and a subtle LV motif on top – but you’ll also find madeleines and signature desserts worth trying.

A beautiful spot for a quiet break, surrounded by design and craft, before boarding your flight.

My Look: Favorite City Girl

For our «City Girl» theme on MY STYLE ROCKS, where we asked contestants to create a look inspired by their favorite city, I simply couldn’t choose just one, so I wore them all.

I chose a fabulous Balenciaga dress printed with iconic skylines from Paris, London, Tokyo, and Berlin, paired with heels featuring the Big Ben and Eiffel Tower sculpted into the heels. To top it off, I carried a sparkling Eiffel Tower clutch bag, because every city girl deserves a little extra shine.

I couldn’t resist channeling the legendary Carmen Miranda! 🍍 I chose a tiered skirt and a playful ruffled blouse, crowned with a fabulous fruit hat, bursting with color and joy. To sweeten it even more, I carried a juicy watermelon clutch… and yes, I even took a bite for the camera. My Look: K-Pop

This Sunday on MY STYLE ROCKS it’s K-POP madness – and your favorite juror (yes, me) showed up like a glitter explosion met a rainbow in Seoul. 🦄💥

I’m rocking:
🖤 A black tulle skirt with maximum drama.
👢 Platform boots that make me 2 inches closer to stardom.
🌈 A denim jacket in rainbow realness (yes, the back is a whole mood!).
💎 A glitter top because subtlety is not in the K-Pop dictionary.
🌙 Space buns? Of course. Iconic, intergalactic, indispensable.

My Look: Story Time

I was in Germany, wrapped in the tenderness and sorrow of visiting my seriously ill parents. In the midst of it all, I chose to wear an outfit that felt like armor and poetry at once. Sometimes, dressing up isn’t about the world seeing you. It’s about feeling like yourself again, if only for a moment.

Elegance can be quiet, almost healing. That day, it gave me a sense of calm, strength, and a whisper of beauty when I needed it most.

My look: Floral-appliqué ruched top in beige, and matching floral-appliqué ruched midi skirt, both by Magda Butrym, crystal-embellished gold-tone necklace by Versace, bi-color heart-shaped earrings by Alessandra Rich, 30 Montaigne SU oversized ivory square sunglasses by Dior, and Opera 105 leather sandals by Gianvito Rossi.

Anna Wintour Steps Down – The End of an Era

Today marks the end of an extraordinary chapter in the world of fashion, journalism, and culture. Anna Wintour, an icon in every sense, is stepping down and with her departure, we close a page on one of the most influential editorial reigns of our time.

I had the privilege of meeting Anna on several occasions. Each time, I was struck by her presence – poised, sharp, and always ahead of the curve. She has that rare quality of making a room pause simply by entering it. What impressed me most, however, wasn’t just her signature sunglasses or her legendary editorial instinct, but her quiet discipline and the genuine care she brought to her work and the people she supported behind the scenes.

«Not just a fashion icon – a cultural force

Anna’s impact on Vogue and the wider industry can’t be overstated. She redefined fashion journalism, championed emerging designers, and shaped cultural conversations far beyond the glossy pages. She challenged norms, elevated voices, and maintained a standard of excellence that inspired generations.

«37 years of vision, elegance, and change.»

Born in London in 1949, Anna began her career in fashion journalism in the 1970s, working at Harper’s & Queen and New York Magazine. She became Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue in 1988, and her sharp editorial vision turned the magazine into a global cultural authority. Over the years, she helped launch the careers of countless designers and creatives, and brought a unique blend of fashion, politics, and cultural relevance to the forefront.

«Anna Wintour – end of an era, legacy continues.»

Me arriving at the US Vogue headquarters…

Although she is stepping down from her role as Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue, she is not leaving Condé Nast. Anna will continue to serve as Global Chief Content Officer at Condé Nast and Global Editorial Director at Vogue, where she will continue to shape the brand’s international direction. The position at American Vogue will be restructured, with a new Head of Editorial Content to be appointed.

... and in the office itself to have breakfast with Anna Wintour and Kim Kardashian.

Her departure is not just the end of a role, but the closing of an era. I’m grateful to have crossed paths with someone whose influence has been as profound as it has been lasting.

Thank you, Anna – for the legacy, the inspiration, and the unforgettable moments.

LoL, Sandra
