Here is another outfit post from my recent trip to the US, taken on Abbot Kinnley Boulevard in Venice Beach. The weather was very weird and I didn’t see much of the Californian sun during my stay. A great place for lunch is Gjelina, a place worth its hype. Even that I am not a vegetarian, I do love my veggies and their kale salad is to die for.
My look: Wool-blend jacquard coat (fabric inspired by children’s wallpaper)
by Miu Miu, two-tone stretch-jersey contour dress by Stella McCartney, Bamboo leather tote
by Gucci, suede booties by Saint Laurent, Audrey wayfarer sunglasses by Céline, rose diamond ring and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

Meet my new companion: The DORSET TOTE by Mulberry. Made from vibrant green leather that softens beautifully with wear, its spacious design has ample room for my daily essentials, plus a detachable pouch to keep valuables close at hand. Finished with the signature pale-gold Postman’s lock, this style is ideal for everyday use.

The new DORSET TOTE looks even great on display. Available in different colors, I went for this green hue that is nice and fresh for the spring season. Enjoy its little diary below:

SATURDAY: The perfect bag to go shopping due to its spacious design.

SUNDAY: Enjoying a yoga class and afterwards a coffee at Le Pain Quotidien, one of my favorite places in Zurich for brunch.

MONDAY: Off to the L’Officiel Switzerland editorial office to finish the second edition. In my DORSET TOTE is everything I need for today.
I hope that you have liked this little diary and I am wishing you a great start into the new week.
LoL, Sandra

As you know, I was recently in Los Angeles with Piaget. It has been one of the best trips ever to my favorite city in the world. I have so many amazing impressions to show you. At the moment, I am working my way through the millions of photos. Here is a teaser post of the outfit I wore to the cocktail party Piaget hosted at the Viceroy hotel in Santa Monica.
My look: Blue bandage gown by Hervé Leger, Tribute sandals by Saint Laurent, embellished clutch with peacock feathers by Matthew Williamson, statement necklace by Lanvin, rose diamond ring and Limelight Gala watch by Piaget.

At the Piaget cocktail reception with Mousse Jacquier and Miss Switzerland 2005 Lauriane Gilliéron whom you might recognize from the recent Nespresso commercial with George Clooney and Matt Damon.

No time to dress in the morning? Some essentials are a great way to save time as they mix and match easily with other pieces from your closet. This season, I recommend a leather biker jacket and a black slim cardigan. They work with everything. Finish off the look with a statement bag and some fun jewelry and you will be ready in a sec!
My look: Leather biker jacket and leopard print scarf, both by Saint Laurent, appliquéd leather and lace skirt
by Jason Wu, cashmere and silk-blend cardigan
by Miu Miu, white lace bralette by Abercrombie & Fitch, large Pashli satchel
by 3.1 Phillip Lim, shoes by Gucci, rose diamond necklace by Piaget and pearl necklace by Chanel.

On Thursday evening, we celebrated the launch of L’Officiel Switzerland. Finally, our first edition is at the kiosk. Personally speaking, I couldn’t have been more excited and of course I am wishing upon a star that it will be a success story. To make a dream come true, I thought wearing some stars might eventually help! Supposedly if you make a wish when you see the first star come out at night, the wish will come true. So better to wear many…
Our presenting sponsor, Aston Martin, offered me a car for the day and I loved it!
My look: Lace-trimmed stretch-silk crepe gown
by Alessandra Rich, embroidered fur stole by Blumarine, satin clutch and Art Déco earrings, both by Prada, Janis leather pumps by Saint Laurent, Limelight gala watch and rose diamond ring by Piaget.
All party pics will be coming up shortly!

Radiant Orchid, the color of 2014, belongs to one of my favourite shades since many years. It embodies everything I love and looks amazing on most skin tones. Moreover, purple hues complement green in perfection.
My look: Edith double-breasted wool coat
, Oleg fluted stretch-cady dress, green cloche hat, all by Stella McCartney, embroidered bib necklace by Matthew Williamson, heels by Gucci and So Black Kelly bag by Hermès.
Today, I am on my way to Los Angeles with Piaget, stay tuned for some fun events…

Yesterday, I left for an amazing press trip I had been really looking forward to since weeks. Being invited by Gucci for the launch of their limited edition fragrance GUCCI GUILTY STUD
to Nevada is pretty cool, isn’t it?
The trip was long, I flew from Zurich via San Francisco to Las Vegas. During the flight, I watched (couldn’t have been a better attunement…) Last Vegas, a comedy about a wild bachelor party thrown by group of old friends (Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline, Morgan Freeman and Robert de Niro). It is such a funny movie, imagine The Hangover as a geriatric edition.
Avid readers of my blog might recognize part of my look. It is one of my favorite outfits to wear on long-distance flights as I really like to be comfy.

My look: Spencer leather lapel jacket
by Saint Laurent, leopard print jacket and matching track pants, both by Dolce & Gabbana, fine-knit cashmere top by Joseph, silk stole and textured-leather Bamboo tote, both by Gucci, suede boots by Balmain, rose diamond ring by Piaget and Spectra trolley by Victorinox.
Stay tuned for more coming up from Sin City. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas… this does not apply to Sandra’s Closet! Promised, you will know everything. As a little teaser, I will enjoy a private concert by Bruno Mars tonight. Excited!
LoL, Sandra
