Louis Vuitton Tableware

Louis Vuitton is revealing the expansion of its Tableware collection – now available in a new beige colourway – celebrating the Monogram flower’s artistic spirit with a contemporary touch that subtly intertwines classic and modern style.

Epitomising purity and timeless elegance, the Monogram Flower tableware set, made with Limoges porcelain, is available in an essential palette of blue and beige. Its motifs highlight the defining Monogram flowers’ graphic design with subtle watercolour effects on a stark white base. The collection boasts a variety of formats ranging from elegant plates to wide bowls and teapots, giving every mealtime a dreamlike ambience.

The tableware collection is accompanied by Twist Glasses and Flower Carafes, all available in Cristal Clear, Sapphire, Amber, Emerald, or Venetian Ruby, in a reflection of the Maison’s spirit. Twist Glasses and Flower Carafes are crafted in Murano glass and hand-blown in Simone Cenedese’s atelier, demonstrating their exceptional artisanry and imbuing each piece with unique character.

The new Louis Vuitton Tableware collection is available on louisvuitton.com and in a selection of Louis Vuitton stores. I am totally in love!

Hello From Greece with Themis Z

Hello from Greece! I arrived in Athens for a very special celebration. My friend Themis Zouganeli is opening her new THEMIS Z flagship store in the Greek capital. Fond memories of her childhood in Athens and summers spent in Mykonos inspire her eponymous label.

Themis with me last January at The Gstaad Palace.

Each piece is conceived to reflect the relaxed yet sophisticated nature of Greek culture and handmade by artisans from the finest materials, which are sourced locally and under responsible conditions. Contemporary separates are showcased with clean lines and printed with geometric motifs and symmetrical patterns reminiscent of antique tile designs, translating the beauty of traditional Grecian dress into the everyday.

Don’t miss out on her tableware collection. Her unique creativity lies in the simple, clean lines she applies to her designs and patterns. It makes you feel like being on vacation at your own home.

At the Blue Palace, Resort and Spa at Elounda in Crete where I went last August, you can find a bespoke fine porcelain tableware adorned with individual hand-painted motifs reminiscent ent of the crystal hues of the Aegean Sea and inspired by the name of the hotel itself.

I am really looking forward to spending the next two days in Athens.

Hermès Passifolia Tableware

Early this year at Maison et Objet in Paris, HERMÈS launched a new tableware designed by artist and ornamentalist Nathalie Rolland-Huckel that I have fallen in love with immediately and that will hopefully make its way into my new home soon…

A true ode to the beauty of flora and tapping into the tropical jungle trend, the collection is named Passifolia – a portmanteau of Passiflora incarnata (the scientific name of the passionflower). Taking plant-based dining to a whole new level, it is the fruit of an artisanal adventure and an exploration of innovative know-how.

The service, which consist of around 30 pieces, offers an immersion in a universe that is both dreamlike and incredibly real, with floral and other more foliage-based compositions. Plates, platters and cups spread out across the table and form landscapes that invite contemplation.

A profusion of plant life to the dining table and a great way to add more greens to your table – so beautiful…

LoL, Sandra
