Trends come and go all the time; while I am glad some are gone, I am ecstatic that a few good ones are back. The cropped top is one of those fashionable currants that found its way from where it started and this time it’s gotten better. Wear it with another ’80s revival the high-waist jeans that are on par with today’s trends.

At the Mulberry showroom in London I discovered my green thumb. A little garden inside the building – a beautiful oasis to sit down and take a deep breath during those hectic times.
My look: Godiva skirt and matching Godiva jacket, both by Mary Katrantzou, cropped cable knit top by Cushnie et Ochs, white Lily shoulder bag by Mulberry, Monogramme embellished shopper tote and ‘Babies’ studded mid-calf boots, both by Saint Laurent.

As promised, here is the detailed post of my outfit that I wore to the Trophée Chopard last week. I am completely in love with Dolce & Gabbana’s vegetable-inspired collection for S/S 2012. And reminiscent of the late ’90s, showing your tummy is back this summer.
My look: Chili pepper-print cotton bustier,
matching high waisted full skirt, red chili and garlic earrings, quilted cotton and raffia top handle bag, raffia-trimmed PVC waist belt, all by Dolce & Gabbana and Tribute sandals by Yves Saint Laurent.
