Last Friday, I arrived in my happy place which is my old hometown Munich. Before the official start of Oktoberfest on Saturday, I went out with friends on Friday night wearing this quite daring dress. Unfortunately, it is always hard to find someone who is not only willing to take some photos and but also capable of doing so. This time, it was obviously a difficult task:-) – men can be so uncooperative – but I hope that you still enjoy this post.

Yesterday, I introduced you to Dundas‘ high-octane glamour. Here you see me wearing one of his S/S 2019 runway dresses that opened the runway show in Paris in Saint-Tropez for a fun night out at L’Opéra. It’s cut from naturally stretchy tulle embellished with awesome sequins in a camouflage pattern to channel the designer’s «urban jungle chic» vision. It’s spliced with an embellished leopard-effect lace sleeve and has flattering ruching along one side.

It is official! I am a Swiss Girl. I couldn’t be happier to finally have received my Swiss passport and to be a double citizen of Germany, my birth place, and Switzerland, my home base.
Today marks Sechseläuten which I will be celebrating among dear friends for the first time as a citizen of Zurich. Following the parade of the “Zünfte” (guilds), the culmination of this popular tradition is the burning of winter in effigy, in the form of the “Böögg” (cognate to bogey), a figure of a snowman prepared with explosives.

Friday’s dress code «Parisian Chic – Je Ne Regrette Rien» for the amazing ASW Winter Weekend in Gstaad was so much fun. I went through my closet and put together some vintage and new pieces for this Cancan-style outfit. The tights incorporated excessive glitz that you cannot see so well on the pictures. I hope that you like it as much as I do.

This week, after my post about the amazing experience with Hublot at the Oktoberfest, I got many compliments about my Dirndl look. You might be surprised but this outfit doesn’t include one single traditional Bavarian piece, every item comes from a runway collection. Over the years, I have collected so many fashion must-haves, that I love to style in different and unexpected ways. As I always say, keep everything if you have space, there will always be a time to wear those pieces again…, I am sure that you will be surprised to see the years in which I bought them.

I have this desire to explore the world, therefore I love traveling. Last month, one of my favorite trips was my visit to Les Sources de Caudalie in Bordeaux. Zurich has a new hot spot. Last week, HATO opened its doors at Brandschenkestrasse 20 (reservations +41 44 280 1880, zurich @hato-restaurants.com). The restaurant’s chef Nathan Dallimore brings the bold flavors of «Fine Asian Cuisine» and fresh sushi to every dining experience. Before today’s official start, I had the honor to try all the culinary highlights during an intimate lunch. The food is absolutely excellent, my favorite is the vegan «Soya Duck Salad» (see photo below). The interior is stylish and intimate at once, curtains can separate certain areas. There is also a special LALIQUE room for private occasions. On Thursday, the VIP opening party took place… enjoy the pics.

This cardigan has truly reinvigorated my wardrobe. It works perfectly day and night and it is a comfy way to wear sequins. I wore this outfit to the Hilfiger dinner that I posted about recently.

This week, I spent some amazing days in Gstaad at THE ALPINA GSTAAD (for more information about the hotel, please click here for a previous post) in their new Kiki de Montparnasse Love Suite that I am eager to tell you more about soon. One evening, I enjoyed an amazing dinner at the hotel’s Sommet restaurant that has one Michelin star and 18/20 Gault Millau points. Renowned chef Marcus G. Lindner knows how to spoil your senses. Here you see me right before dinner.
