Got an Eye on You: Designers to Watch

Designers_to_Watch

Three designers have recently caught my eye with their beautiful, outstanding collections and I am convinced that we will see much more of those rising fashion stars in the near future.
Be among the first ones to detect them.

Vika_Gazinskaya

MOSCOWVIKA GAZINSKAYA

Moscow’s former stylist and fashion week favorite channels her distinctly avant-garde style into a namesake ready-to-wear line that is clean, modern, and sculptural. Think futuristic-inspired pencil skirts and bold ruffle sleeved blouses. Watch out for S/S 2013‘s sculptured dresses, flared skirts and elegantly-edgy meteorological motifs – all meticulously produced in the designer’s Moscow-based studio.

Delpozo

MADRIDDELPOZO

Elegant, enchanting and delicate – Delpozo’s beautiful designs are a celebration of all things feminine. Creative Director Joseph Font takes a couture-like approach with intricate hand-embroidery, pretty appliqués and fabulous floral prints.

Mother_of_Pearl

LONDON MOTHER OF PEARL

Fashion and art stylishly collide in Maia Norman’s collections. Each season the designer collaborates with a well-known artist, and for spring she translates New York based Francesco Simeti’s wallpaper prints into peplum-detail tees and cropped pants with a signature sporty spin.

Save Japan

It is just so extremely saddening what  is currently happening in Japan. In this difficult situation, there are many possibilties to help the victims of the catastrophe.

French concept store Colette for example says: „We love Japan“ and helps to raise funds for the country’s disaster relief.
Several designers have contributed: Kuntzel+Deygas buttons, an original drawing by Fafi, bracelets by Aurélie Biderman, Cool Cats T-shirts , a “Rescue Jacket” by Kitsuné, teddy bears by Vika Gazinskaya, Case Scenario x Keith Haring iphone cases, Olympia Le Tan brooches, Eiko Maekawa rabbits and many more to come.
100 percent of the proceeds of the sales of these products will be directly donated to the JAPANESE RED CROSS SOCIETY.

I am working since many years with the SWISS RED CROSS and this amazing organisation is always one of the first ones to help. Your contribution will truly make a difference.

That is us: The ladies of the Swiss Red Cross ball committee.

My heart is with Japan and the Japanese people.
