The Top 15 Runway Trends for S/S 2018

S/S 2018 in three words? Feel good fashion. The trends for the next season are a fab mix of florals, pastels, and all ways of dressing up. This winter’s love for red will be replaced by head to toe soft lavender and fringe made its way in all forms this season, so there’s a look for every level of commitment. Most importantly go clear this season with all your favorite designers as plastic gets fantastic and underwear is meant to be seen.

Below is a summary of the most important trends for S/S 2018. Enjoy! The pieces will hit the shelves starting beginning of next year…

My Look: Shades of You

Shades_of_you_Sandra_Bauknecht_Chloe

I have fallen in love with all the shades of Chloé’s S/S 2016 collection from the first moment I saw it. Inspired by the youthful optimism of the ’90s, Clare Waight Keller embraced an interesting color spectrum for her must-have pieces. My favorite top combines two trends, rainbow colors and off-the-shoulder. It is cut from airy silk-georgette and detailed with dip-dyed tassels. Emulate the runway styling by wearing yours with love-worn denim shorts as I did.

I Don’t Need a Valentine.. I Need Valentino.

Valentine's Day 2015

Somewhere over the rainbow, there is my Valentine and it’s a Valentino! Just when I thought the Rockstud collection couldn’t get any more fabulous, I spotted those rainbow stripes that are absolutely divine. It’s amazing how even after several years, the Valentino Rockstud is still going strong and gets better and better each season. Here is my wish list on Valentine’s Day (in case anybody wants to gift me, I love number 6)!
