MCM Blogger Makeover with Sandra’s Closet

MCM-Blogger_make-over_2013_Save_the_date

This week was very busy and exciting for me. MCM opened their first European flagship store in Zurich and to celebrate the occasion I was asked to be the blogger host for the MCM Blogger Makeover 2013. Together with MCM, Sandra’s Closet invited their favourite Swiss bloggers for a fun photo shoot in the studio of Christian Dietrich, followed by the opening party in the evening at the new shop, located at Münsterhof.

Stay tuned for the upcoming post when the official photos will be revealed and to see who was part of the event. Below are some behind the scenes shots that lovely Gray took of me. Thank you to MCM and everyone who participated in the shoot!

Dior On Ice

Dior_on_ice_cover

The Dior event in Paris last week was truly amazing. The Dior team spoilt me constantly during my stay with wonderful birthday surprises. How creative they are was clear when we went for dinner Thursday night. Held at the ice rink of the Plaza Athénée which is located at the inner courtyard of the famous Parisian hotel, we were welcomed by a Swiss chalet atmosphere and a cute Saint Bernard dog.

As I have done many dinners on the ice in St. Moritz before, I knew exactly what to wear in order not to get cold.
My look: Mink coat by Prada, fur boots by Prada Sport, scarf, bag and bracelet, all by Anselm Reyle for Dior, Diorette ring by Dior Haute Joaillerie and fur hat by Marc Jacobs.

Dior-On-Ice-Raclette

Raclette prepared by three Michelin star chef Alain Ducasse was a big surprise. Who would have expected having a Swiss traditional dish in Paris?! Very funny, the two Swiss ladies, Manuela and my humble self, were shoveling the yummy cheese in our mouth, whereas most of the other bloggers were a little overwhelmed by the heavy food.

Manuela Pastore (Dior Switzerland) explained enthusiastically how to eat raclette.

Blogger Goodies from the Gucci Adventure

IMG_0239

To conclude my Gucci adventure in Italy, I would like to share those fun pics of the other bloggers who were also part of Gucci’s 16 handpicked style bloggers participating. Most of us knew each other before, so it felt like going on a trip with old friends.

Betty (Le Blog de Betty) from Paris with me at the Sheraton Diana Majestic hotel in Milan where the Gucci show took place.

Her nails were from the Lady Gaga workshop at Barneys in NYC.

IMG_0225

Those feather cuffs are from Topshop and she put them over her leather jacket, love it!

Misha and I

This is American-born Misha from Tokyo (Tokyo Fashion Diaries) who loves wigs. I adore her crazy and eclectic style.

IMG_0351

On her colourful nails were little pumpkins painted that actually looked like the Vivienne Westwood logo.

You know that already, I love him!

Tina got all excited seeing how her new 1970 Gucci bag is made.

Getting Ready for the Show – The Fitting

IMG_8458

Today, I had the fitting for the Polyvore Live Fashion Show presented by Covergirl which will take place next Monday. It was so great to seeing the Polyvore girls again, meeting the designers and some of the other bloggers who will walk the runway.

Please enjoy some of the behind the scenes photos:

I will be wearing one gorgeous red chiffon dress by Dana-Maxx Pomerantz. Here you see her talking to me. Her creations are colourful, feminine and with a light, beautiful vintage touch. I like her style a lot.

Shoes Stella

My own ankle boots with studded heels by Stella McCartney (They are also available without the bow. If you are interested, please click here).

Lauren with me

The second outfit that I will presenting on the runway is designed by Lauren Bagliore. She has a very edgy style and her clothes can be easily layered. This black “Theophila” dress can be worn in many different ways. Pretty cool!

Don’t forget to watch the livestream of the show on Monday!

IMG_5557

Meet the Bloggerdolls. Designer Paola Ferrai came up with the idea to create handmade dolls inspired by different bloggers.

The details are very cute. I am personally in love with those little fur boots. LuisaViaRoma is going to sell those cuties soon online and in their shop in Florence.

Night at the Museum

IMG_5487

Last night, LuisaViaRoma held a private dinner party at La Specola in the Salone degli Scheletri with a very special opera performance. Surrounded by skeletons, the scenery was incredible. We all had a lot of fun during our night at the museum. Only Ben Stiller was missing…
