Nuxe’s Iconic Oil Has a New Perfume

This week, I was surprised by Panamy with a beautiful box of roses (best floral deliveries in Switzerland) accompanied by a new beauty must-have I want to introduce in this post. My avid readers know how much I love NUXE‘s Huile Prodigieuse® Dry Oil (see last year’s post here). This summer, NUXE is reinventing its cult beauty product, that was launched in 1991 and that is ranked as the number-one product in the dry oil category in Europe, by creating a new fresh and floral scent, offering women two choices from now on depending on their mood.

Huile Prodigieuse® Florale features the same natural composition and the same benefits as the original product, containing 7 precious botanical oils, such as repairing Argan oil and moisturizing Tsubaki oil. Its new floral scent reveals a sweet, velvety and sensual base in a floral iteration. Truly addictive.

As an all in one product it can be used in many ways: skin is nourished, smoothed, evened out and beautified; hair is soft and shiny. Furthermore, it has a proven efficacy on antioxidant properties and on the ability to help reduce stretch marks’ appearance.
Available for CHF 34.90  (100ml).

Garnier So Naturally – New Organic Line

Recently, I was invited by GARNIER to explore the brand’s new Organic skincare range. 11 products the company has been working on for 10 years. Sustainable sourcing, respect for the environmentvegan formulas and new organic certifications, all come together to write this new chapter.

But do organic products really work? The idea that a high-performance product can be made from ingredients drawn from nature, rather than the laboratory, might seem too good to be true. Still, skincare that’s kind to your skin and the environment is real. Here’s why..

The effectiveness of an organic product depends on how the ingredients are processed and how the overall product is formulated. Finding the correct balance of ingredients in a formula takes intensive research. This is especially true when working with natural extracts, which are inherently complex and diverse.

GARNIER has spent over 10 years sourcing and developing the right combination of natural and organic ingredients for the new Garnier Organic product line. The products are certified organic by the Soil Association according to rigorous international standards. Formulated with a minimum of 95% natural ingredients, each product harnesses a star natural ingredient, carefully blended in a formula to benefit a specific skin type.

The lemongrass is harvested in Sri Lanka, thyme and lavender, both come from France, and the precious argan oil derives from Morocco.

Swiss food blogger and author of «Eat Better, Not Less» Nadia Damaso treated us to some amazing vegan culinary dessert treats. Her cookbook, which has immediately become a bestseller in Switzerland, offers healthy yet super delicious mostly plant-based recipes that are completely free from refined sugar and lactose.

You are what you eat. Great skin is a combination of nutrition and the right skincare. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your GARNIER Organic Konjac Botanical Cleansing Sponge and gently buff your way to clearer, softer skin while you are preparing your vegan dinner.

Le Petit Marseillais – Everyday Body Care

Le_Petit_Marseillais_Body_Care

I love the body care products by Le Petit Marseillais. Bursts of nourishing ingredients leave the skin irresistibly soft and sweet. Feel moisturized all day long with a blend of fig, aloe vera or shea butter immersed in their exclusive hydrating formula. The fast absorbing, non-greasy textures absorb quickly and make them the perfect body lotions for everyday use. The scents are addictive and all that for little money.

From left to right:
– Hydrating body lotion with karité, almond, argan oil for dry skin (yellow)
– Skin restoring body lotion with karité, aloe vera, beeswax for stressed, dry skin (beige)
Hydrating body lotion with karité, essential chamomile oil, fig for very dry skin (purple)
My favourite! This product smells amazingly. I especially love it in combination with Fleur de Figuier by Roger & Gallet.

Available in Switzerland for CHF 6.95 (250ml) each.
