The 12th of April marks the International Day of Pink this year, it is always held on the second Wednesday of April. Take a stand against discrimination and bullying with the season’s hottest shade. Seen all the runways (in a myriad of shades) for both, spring and fall you’ve no good reason not to get on board.
Get the look (in the collage): Off-the-shoulder Chantilly lace gown by Giambattista Valli, Word Image appliquéd cotton-faille clutch by Olympia Le-Tan and bow-embellished satin wedge sandals by Prada.

I love the piano, it’s my favorite instrument. This season the piano keyboard has inspired many designers. Listening to a piano concert or even better playing yourself in this look is the ultimate fashion goal.
Get the look: Ruffled silk-georgette top by Elie Saab, pleated jacquard-knit skirt by Proenza Schouler, Dolce Box piano tote and embellished leather pumps, both by Dolce & Gabbana.
If you are thinking about getting a piano, have a look at my favorite one which is said to be the best one in the world: the MODEL D by STEINWAY & SONS. For over 160 years, the company has been dedicated to the art of piano making, setting the uncompromising standard for sound, touch, beauty, and investment value.

Yes, we’re almost through January and yes, it’s pretty bad: baltic temperatures, dark all the time, hardly anything left in your size in any of the sales. But try not to take it too hard. Instead indulge in the new season and take some bold stripes to fight the winter blues.
I have spent the last week with a rapt, sunny smile on my face, trying to out-cheer these grim conditions with the help of some vibrant colors that you can easily incorporate in your wardrobe.
Strapless striped jacquard dress by Delpozo
Bold stripes are trending this summer. If you would like to wear them now, just add a turtleneck for more warmth. This is what I would call beating January!
Or escape to the Caribbean as I did…

Today, I had an amazing day in NYC that was filled with so many outstanding impressions and special moments. One of them was meeting Carolyn Murphy, who has been the face of Estée Lauder for 15 consecutive years. The minute we spoke, it was a match made in heaven.
She is not only so beautiful from the outside but also from the inside. Before I tell you more about this special encounter, I would like you to get inspired by her extraordinary outfit.
Get her look: Printed midi dress by Saint Laurent, embroidered suede shoulder bag by Aerin, Nim patent-leather sandals by Alexandre Birman.
Stay tuned for more…

Recently, I watched the new Mother’s Day movie. It is star-studded ensemble film (Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts just to name a few…) that follows three generations in the week leading up to this special celebration with all of them facing the ups and downs of motherhood. It is really an entertaining film that I can recommend.
One scene caught my eye specifically and that means in terms of fashion of course. Without giving away too much, it’s pretty much in the end when Julia Roberts, who plays also a grandma (Can you imagine? Time flies!) shows up in a stunning pink dress. With capes being so fashionable this season, this built-in version is absolutely divine.
Get the look: Cape-back crepe mini dress by Alexander McQueen, Dolce leather-trimmed painted wood clutch by Dolce & Gabbana, So Kate 120 leather pumps by Christian Louboutin and Lady Stardust 18-karat rose gold multi-stone ring by Stephen Webster.

If you have read the February issue of L’OFFICIEL Switzerland, you might remember Monika Wildi and her fabulous Zurich based online shop FASHIONVESTIS. Three years ago she started this fashion adventure. Today she carries a great selection of young brands and upcoming designers.
Get the look: Blue sweater by Paul & Joe, raffia shopper by Vanessa Bruno, white shirt, embroidered shorts and cowboy boots, all three by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
Great news is that you can find the beautiful collection of Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini at FASHION VESTIS. The former Dolce & Gabbana womenswear designer was appointed in October 2014 as Creative Director of the brand that was founded in 1984 by Alberta Ferretti.
His second runway collection for Philosophy showcases beautiful dresses lush with painterly florals and Victorian embellishments, spicing it up with a hint of the undone prairie girl.
The package comes beautifully wrapped if you order at Fashion Vestis.
I couldn’t resist those two looks, stay tuned for the outfit posts coming up soon…
