Yes Girl Yes! Turquoise, light blue and red make a great colour combination. It’s almost spring and those vibrant shades announce the arrival of my favorite season. Some colours and a positive attitude will help us go through these troubled times. The coronavirus has resulted in countless changes to daily life – bars, restaurants are empty and the calls for «social distancing» to slow the spread of the virus is pretty tough on everyone. Therefore I am convinced that it is even more important to find joy in the little things and this can be a great outfit in eclectic hues. Red and turquoise create one of those unexpected color combinations that will turn heads. The reason? Red looks more brilliant next to turquoise than it does when paired with most other colors. Here you see me wearing this fabulous duo at a beach club in Saint-Tropez on a cloudy day.

The last three days I spent in Milan on a business trip and this is one of the outfits I wore (the photos were taken before at Lake Zurich). I just adore the color combination of burgundy and blue. It looks chic and sophisticated. The baker boy cap adds a fun twist to the look.

On Tuesday at the premiere of «Fack Ju Goethe 3» in Zurich, German actress Jella Haase caught my eye in this stunning outfit. First of all, I love velvet in burgundy but paired with a touch of it looks so chic and modern. Two thumbs up for her stylist!

Exposed shoulders have become the latest and personally speaking the chicest way to show some skin. Even a modest cold-shoulder aesthetic makes the difference. And unlike legs, this body part always looks good, which means, great news, you can skip a cardio class or two. But if the skirt is short, better not… just saying. I also like the color combination of sky-blue, peach and beige and hope you do, too!

Last Thursday, the opening night of the 12th Zurich Film Festival took place with the screening of the drama «Lion» that stars Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman and David Wenham. It is a very sad movie based on the true story of a five-year-old boy who gets lost on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometers from home. He survives many challenges before being adopted by a couple in Australia; 25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family.

For the opening night, film mogul Harvey Weinstein, director Garth Davis and producer Iain Canning had flown in. All three joined ASMALLWORLD at the dazzling opening night for an exclusive dinner at Conti restaurant, followed by an after-party to dance the night away.

AKRIS has come up with a new cool when it comes to dressing. For the last winter collection, creative director Albert Kriemler has quite obviously fallen in love with the jacket. I adore the versatility of his creations. The cropped fur part for example can be removed and the leather vest be worn solo. How cool is that?!

Besides, I am a big fan of the color combination of light grey and olive. Those two hues are a great match, unexpected and interesting together.

For a true fashion lover, Azzedine Alaïa is a must in a closet. An Alaïa dress is a seasonless wardrobe wonder piece that never lets you down. I bought my first item by the Tunisian-born designer probably 20 years ago and it still looks up to date. His designs play with discreet luxury, they are comfortable and ultra feminine. For the Bally x L’Officiel event I wore this look and played with the color combination of dark blue and black which I adore, it is so chic.
