Get the look (from collage above): Striped open-knit blazer and matching flared pants, both by Balmain, stretch-jersey turtleneck top by Theory, Elephant striped leather shoulder bag by Loewe, laser-cut suede ankle boots by Alaïa and gold-tone, resin and crystal clip earrings by Dolce & Gabbana.
Yes, we’re almost through January and yes, it’s pretty bad: baltic temperatures, dark all the time, hardly anything left in your size in any of the sales. But try not to take it too hard. Instead indulge in the new season and take some bold stripes to fight the winter blues.
I have spent the last week with a rapt, sunny smile on my face, trying to out-cheer these grim conditions with the help of some vibrant colors that you can easily incorporate in your wardrobe.

Bold stripes are trending this summer. If you would like to wear them now, just add a turtleneck for more warmth. This is what I would call beating January!
Or escape to the Caribbean as I did…

Today, I want to share with you something very special. For the first time, you can enjoy a catwalk show at 10.000 meters being on route to New York Fashion Week with Lufthansa on February 8, 2017 on board a Boeing 747-8.
Up in the air, New York based fashion designer Rubin Singer, who began his career at Oscar de la Renta, is offering a preview of his women’s collection before the actual fashion show in the Big Apple. And the best is… on a catwalk high above the Atlantic Ocean.
Moreover, air hostesses’ uniforms are also influenced by fashion trends. Therefore, in another fashion show the Lufthansa crew will model the looks of the past 60 years. And in tune with this retrospective, the jumbo jet has had a 70s-style facelift. Every passenger on flight LH 400 from Frankfurt/Main to New York on 8 February 2017 is invited to take part in this unique event – irrespective of booking class.
I am loving it! What a great idea!

Beauty mogul Bobbi Brown might have just left her eponymous company but that does not minimize the quality of the brand’s products. Newly launched BOBBI BROWN REMEDIES are six complexion-boosters mixing the powers of superfoods with natural skincare ingredients. Some, such as algae, are well-known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, but it’s the first time you might have seen brussels sprouts included in a skin serum. Each «potion» homes in on a specific ailment – from irritation to dullness – for instant relief and long-term improvement.
From top to bottom:

PROBLEM: REDNESS & IRRITATION – SOLUTION: SKIN RELIEF №80

PROBLEM: LOSS OF ELASTICITY – SOLUTION: SKIN FORTIFIER №93
